I used Splat Aqua Rush and this is after about 4 washes. (: love it.
Did this today over dyed medium blonde. Bleached the ends, then applied a mixture of Directions vermillion red, dark tulip and a drop of alpine green. Totally in love!
Dye used:
Pravana Violet, with streaks of Manic Panic Rockabilly Blue and Ion Color Brilliance Brights Aqua.

Hey do you have any suggestions on how to find someone that is both a colorist and a weaveologist? I either find someone who can color my natural hair or that can do a sew in and its frustrating lol. Thanks in advance for any help you can give!

try getfussy they have an app for finding stylists and they probably can direct you to who you’re looking for better than i can. i know the frustration but if all else fails you can go to two separate stylists, especially if you find someone exceptional in either skill.

HEADS UP!!! I just heard about : Blackhaireverywhere.com It’s not live yet, but it’s basically going to be a directory of black hairstylists all over the US (and abroad?) and you can book appointments, leave feedback or comments and everything. I get the sense that it’s like yelp for black haircare.

This is so dope because you guys remember when I was trying to come up with a way to make a directory for stylists on the blog because of so many asks?? Well YEAHHHHHHH SHOUT OUT TO THE CREATORS OF BLACK HAIR EVERYWHERE!! for actually knowing how to put it together!

The site isn’t open to the public just now, but stylists can sign up for free and list themselves—also they’re giving away $100 to one lucky stylist (just for signing up).

Directions alpine green and apple green on bleached hair

Airacha’s ocean hair on Flickr.
Crazy Color - Fire
My hair was previously black, I used jo baz 3 times and then bleached it for 30 minutes with 30 vol bleach.
It was then light enough to take on this colour with the dye :)   (it was a meidum-lightish ginger mostly)
